2018 Subaru Crosstrek and WRX Awarded the IIHS 2017 Top Safety Pick + Award

At Subaru, safety has always been the main priority. Whether that's the safety of drivers and passengers in a Subaru vehicle, other drivers on the road or pedestrians on the streets. When it comes to safety, every Subaru vehicle is held to the highest standard. This is exemplified by the new 2018 Subaru Crosstrek and WRX being awarded the IIHS 2017 Top Safety Pick + award when equipped with EyeSight Driver Assist Technology and new LED steering responsive headlights.

This is the sixth year in a row that the Crosstrek has been awarded the a Top Safety Pick and the third year in a row that the WRX gets the award. They earned the Top Safety Pick + award this year thanks to the Eyesight Driver Assist Technology system and LED steering responsive headlights, both of which combine to make it safer than ever to take on any driving scenario. The Eyesight Driver Assist Technology system offers intuitive safety features like adaptive cruise control, automatic pre-collision braking, lane keep assist and more. LED steering responsive headlights turn with your wheel, allowing you to bend light around corners and see more easily at night.

The new Crosstrek and WRX join the Impreza, Legacy, Forester, and Outback as Top Safety Pick + award recipients. If you're interested in getting to know more about the new lineup of 2018 Subaru models, we welcome you to come see them all in person here at Subaru Superstore of Chandler today!
