Subaru is well known among Surprise for a commitment to safety that is hard to beat, spirited and efficient performance, and the spirit of adventure. Each new model year brings new changes and improvements and there is a lot of exciting news about the 2019 Subaru lineup that ranges from new models to more standard advanced safety features.

The biggest and possibly the most exciting news from Subaru is the arrival of the biggest and most powerful Subaru SUV yet. The all-new, 3-row Ascent. The 2019 Subaru Ascent has spacious seating for up to eight and is snatching up safety awards left and right with EyeSight Driver Assist Technology standard on every model. The Subaru Ascent is also ready for everything your family needs with 19 cupholders, up to 8 USB ports, available Wi-Fi connectivity, and an impressive 86.5 cubic feet of maximum cargo space. Powering the Ascent is a new 2.4L turbocharged four-cylinder BOXER engine that generates 260 horsepower and can easily tow up to 5,000 lbs.

Another exciting change for 2019 is the totally redesigned Subaru Forester. The 2019 Forester is sporting a brand bold new look, improved powertrain, more interior space, and also comes standard with Subaru EyeSight Driver Assist Technology. The 2019 Forester is still powered by a 2.5L four-cylinder BOXER engine that now generates 182 horsepower and gets up to 33 highway mpg. The Forester is ready for bigger adventures with 111.9 cubic feet of passengers space and an impressive 76.1 cubic feet of maximum cargo space. Another new feature of the 2019 Forester is the first ever DriverFocus advanced safety features which reduces distracted and drowsy driving by monitoring the driver. And alerting them to refocus on the road or pull over for a break.

On a somber note the 2019 Subaru Forester has said goodbye to the 2.0L turbo BOXER engine that powered the XT models. The 2019 Forester, however, still offers a Sport trim level that delivers thrilling performance thanks to Dual-Function X-Mode with Hill Descent Control, SI-DRIVE with Sport Sharp mode, and features gloss black exterior accents and orange stitching inside.

The Subaru Outback and Legacy stylistically carry over unchanged but also now come standard with EyeSight on every model. The Subaru WRX has also received a couple of updates for the 2019 model year that include a new paint color and performance features. Making the 2019 WRX the most powerful, best handling WRX ever. With the addition of a new air intake and high-flow exhaust system the WRX STI now has 310 horsepower. The WRX is now equipped with SI-DRIVE that enables three different driving modes and regulates the Engine Control Unit, fine-tuning the throttle, and adjusting transmission shifts.
