Power and Performance
In its Base and Sport trims, the Impreza keeps a naturally aspirated 2.0L flat-four engine making 152 horsepower and 145 lb-ft of torque under its hood. RS models boost that performance to 182 horsepower and 178 lb-ft of torque with its 2.5L flat-four. Both engines are paired with Subaru’s innovative Lineartronic continuously variable transmission, which uses chains and pulleys instead of a traditional belt to improve smoothness and efficiency.
The Impreza’s Active Torque Vectoring and Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive systems provide unbelievable grip around tight corners and during harsh weather. Symmetrical AWD’s perfectly balanced layout further contributes to the car’s easy handling. A fully independent suspension with front struts and a rear double wishbone admirably absorbs road bumps.
Passenger Cabin

While a dual 7-inch Subaru Starlink Multimedia touchscreen system can be found in Base models, Sport and RS models get an 11.6-inch Subaru Starlink Multimedia Plus system with a 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot. Either will come with support for Android Auto/Apple CarPlay, SiriusXM satellite radio, and Bluetooth hands-free calling and audio streaming. Safety
The EyeSight driver assist suite includes a slew of advanced technologies, such as pre-collision braking, lane departure and sway warnings, and adaptive cruise control with lane centering.
